We must have really behaved ourselves last time we visited Marina because she invited us back again!
She promised us lunch and a cup of tea, so we accepted her invitation.
The laughter started as soon as we sat down.
After some light refreshments we drove off to visit Jemima's Creative Quilting in Craigieburn.
The building looked quite small from the outside but there was an abundance of inspiration within.
and lots to buy.
With treasures in hand we returned to Marina's and enjoyed a delicious lunch ….
…. and more sweets.
We did do a little bit of sewing. Marina's stitcheries are always beautifully done, so I took the opportunity to ask for a little tuition. We managed to confuse each other but eventually she got me on the right track and I finished a practice piece chosen from Gail Pan's new book. Lots of room for improvement but I will persist. That poor bird looks a little malnourished in my care.
Thanks Marina for a splendid day.
Did you try to lose us on the way home from Jemima's or was it just my imagination?
